Warranty

Every product here carries our own twelve month warranty, on top of anything the manufacturer offers.

What is covered

Faults in the product itself, for 12 months from the day it arrives. We repair it, replace it, or refund it, and which of those depends on what is quickest for you rather than cheapest for us.

What is not

• Accidental damage, liquid, drops and power surges into unprotected equipment.
• Normal wear: keycaps, gas struts, castors, cable sheathing, batteries losing capacity.
• Anything opened, modified or repaired by somebody else.
• Use the product was not built for.

Batteries and cells are covered for 6 months. Every battery loses capacity with use; that is chemistry rather than a fault.

Surge and power damage

Worth saying plainly, because it is Nigeria and it matters. Damage from mains surges is not covered on equipment that was plugged straight into the wall. It is covered where the equipment was behind a surge protector or a regulator that we supplied and that failed. We sell both for exactly this reason.

Making a claim

Email store@cim-edge.com with your order reference and what is happening. Most things are settled with a photograph or a short video. If it has to come back to us, we arrange the collection.
